When Lee had sleepovers at Lotta’s, her mother told them bedtime stories. Their favorite was about this tiny planet Brummen, hidden carefully behind Saturn. There the Katalista’s lived in an almost constant state of ecstasy. They had x-ray eyes that could trace sorrow in any living soul and caress it with the sweetest tenderness.

These extraordinary traits turned the Katalista’s into alien saints. Every single one of them had their own guards to protect them. Lee and Lotta firmly believed that if only the Katalista’s could rule our entire universe, darkness would only be a lovely shade of black, as there would be no sorrow left to hide in it.

Once Lotta lived among the Katalista’s on Brummen she portrayed them and their staff in her log. To show their gratitude, the Katalista’s gave her access to the exquisite Katalista-bubbles. These could be worn as a protective shield and  used to transport almost anything through wormholes and portals.

The flowers on Brummen have given rise to everything that lives there and are still used for the most diverse purposes to this day. They produce spaceships, but they can also help to heal diseases. Lotta has her own flower garden and learned how to take care of them.
